Sledging on field is normal but dislocating your jaw while doing so is bizarre. A English club cricketer did the same while he was sledging his opposition.

Bizarre but true

Jayden Regan from the Hastings Cricket Club took the wicket of Jeff Bluhm of Dromana on the batsman’s personal score of 99 during the match on Saturday last week. He went on to celebrate the wicket with such ferocity at Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula celebrated that he was unable to close his mouth and ended up dislocating his jaw according to the news reports. Regan, the captain of the team was taken to the nearby hospital immediately in the middle of the match as per the report of dailymail.co.uk.

Regan explains the incident

He was quoted by the English Tabloid, “We got a bit excited and started to carry on as you do and then I thought, nah I’ll give it a bit more and then the jaw just fell out of place.” He further shared his experience at the hospital and said that he was screaming there when the doctor put his haw in place. “Once I got to the hospital I was screaming there. They took me straight in and the doctor had to put his thumbs in the back of my mouth and crack it back in.”

Regan further informed that once his jaw was in place he was rid of all kind of pain. After that he returned to the cricket field. He celebrated the win with teammates, met his rival, and shook hands. Regan said that he along with Bluhm shared a good laugh over this unusual incident and moved on by wishing each other for the rest of the year.. “He was having a beer and I would have but I couldn't. We had a bit of a laugh about it and wished each other good luck for the rest of the year.”
